Jul 27, 2015 · When it says "trip computer" in the instructions you will only reset the trip computer or trip odometer and things associated with it. Setting the main odometer involves a master reset of everything and this is, of course, not covered in the manual because no one except me would ever want to do this. Ever since a mechanic had my tank off the last time to adjust my lifters, my odometer trip meter keeps resetting itself. Sometimes it'll show a higher or lower mileage, sometimes it zeros out, sometimes it switches to the second trip meter or the odometer. I'd say it doesnt do it TOO often... I have a new 2020 Silverado 3500 WT Duramax. First day or two of driving, the Trip 1, Trip 2, and digital speedometer screens were present. Now they are nowhere to be found. I have the work truck trim, so base model odometer stem (no buttons on steering wheel other than cruise control). TRIP A : Tripmeter A. TRIP B : Tripmeter B. This mode indicates the distance of individual trips selected since the last tripmeter reset. The meter's working range is from 0.0 to 999.9 miles (0.0 to 999.9 km). Pressing the RESET button for more than 1 second, when the tripmeter (TRIP A or TRIP B) is being displayed, clears the tripmeter to zero (0.0). Distance to empty (mi. or km)
